All Church FastSaturday, February 20, 2010Day 4Isaiah 61:1-3 (New Living Translation) 1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.  He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.  2 He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.  3 To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair, In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. Prayer:  Father, Your Holy Spirit has come upon us and He has anointed us to bring good news to the poor.  The Good News that Jesus Christ died on the Cross as final payment for our sins.  It is good news that we do not need to live apart from Your presence and power.  It is good news that You have set us free in Christ from all things that have enslaved our souls.  The chains of every bondage, stronghold, and destructive pattern in our lives have been broken and removed from us by the Holy Spirit's power.  It is good news that you have healed the brokenness of our history.  It is good news that Your grace has come upon our lives and every enemy of our souls need to be trembling as Your anger is turned against them.  It is good news that you have taken all hopelessness and despair from our lives and given us joy and praise.  Our lives are now being lived for Your own glory.  Now, we pray, use us to proclaim the powerful message of hope, joy, healing, and freedom to those around us.  Use us to share the good news of Your goodness, greatness, and wisdom that is so abundantly poured out upon all who call upon You.  We now turn to these prayer requests as we call upon You:1. Complete healing for Jack Aknin, from all cancer in his body.2. Complete healing and miraculous physical restoration for Josh Lewis.  3. A local good-paying job for Jor Bratko.4. Financial provision for the Avilla family and their ministry, Advocate for Orphans.5. Protection for Harmon and Teri Parker in Kenya, Africa.6. For every member of Kingsway to experience Your powerful deliverance from every spiritual stronghold in their lives. 7. And then, for my own personal needs, my marriage, my children.Father, thank you for hearing these prayers.  They are being brought before you in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.  AMEN!
