My First Visit
We all were new, at one time, and we remember what it's like. So we've provided the information below, knowing that it's easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.
Sunday Mornings
We have volunteers ready to greet and direct you upon your arrival. Look for the men and women with name tags that say “ASK ME.”
Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. The congregration dress will range from slacks, shirt and tie to jeans and shorts (come as you feel most comfortable). Kingsway Community Church offers contemporary worship that features strong vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums.
The service lasts for one hour and forty-five minutes. Near the beginning of the service we will have a fellowship time where people will walk around and greet each other. However, no one will single you out in front of the service. Also, we don't expect our visitors to give. So feel free to let the offering plate pass by when it comes down your row.
At Kingsway, kids are encouraged to attend worship with their families. The children will be dismissed to their Sunday School program near the middle of the service and volunteers are available to make sure your children are escorted to their classroom.
Parking
Abundant parking is available in the main parking lots at Valley Christian Schools and it is a short walk to the small gym where our services are held. Handicapped parking is available.
If you have questions about worship or Sunday classes, ask the volunteers at the Welcome Center in the main lobby, or ask a "greeter guide" (they wear nametags that say "Ask Me").
If you need to talk or pray with someone about a personal struggle, please be sure to visit with the ministry team. They will be standing to one side of the auditorium towards the end of the service.
Getting Connected
Getting connected at Kingsway is about relationships that go beneath the surface. Those kinds of relationship won’t come simply by attending worship services. They take time. One way to get connected is to join a Home Group. These are available throughout the week. See your bulletin for days, locations and times.
