God’s glory is destined to fill the whole earth: Numbers 14:21
The Glory Of God: Exodus 43:6-7, Nehemiah 9:17, Psalm 145:11-12, Jonah 4:2

God’s Character: love, joy, peace, mercy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, truthful, generous, forgiving, and just. (Exodus 34:6-7, Galatians 5:22-23)
God’s Power: Released in and through God’s people by the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5, Hebrews 2:4)

Spiritual Gifts vs. Talents
Spiritual gifts are _________________ endowments that God provides in a specific situation.

Two Definitions of Gifts:

Definition of Spiritual Gifts: charismata: The special grace or favor, from the Holy Spirit, denoting extraordinary powers which distinguishes certain Christians and enables them to serve the church.
Word of Wisdom:
Greek word = sophia: Ability to know the right course of action.
Spiritual Gift: The supernatural ability to offer the practical application of a truth or to give the appropriate ______________ of ___________.
Distinctives:
Ability to provide divinely given ________________ in the midst of conflict and confusion.
Ability to discern the unseen consequences in determining the next steps to take.
Examples in Scripture: 1 Kings 3:24-27, Acts 15:13-20
Cautions:
Don’t fail to share with others the word of wisdom God gives you.
Avoid letting others develop a dependence upon the words of wisdom operating through you.
Don’t become impatient with others who do not have this gift.
Remember the wisdom isn’t from you.
Don’t become __________________ with the gift. Keep your relationship with Jesus first priority. (Jerimiah 9:23-24)
